Email Standards

Email standards ensure a consistent voice and appearance, both when communicating across campus, as well as to the outside world.

Email formatting

Emails should always follow established grammatical guidelines. Slang, abbreviations and emojis are discouraged from official communications. Emails should always be sent with a plain white background with black or dark grey text between 12-13px in size. This ensures readability, as well as a professional tone within email communications. 

Email Signatures

Email signatures serve a critical purpose, ensuring respondents are able to quickly and efficiently find critical information about the sender.

Email signatures should follow the same guidelines as the rest of the email - they should consist of a plain white background with black or dark grey text between 12-13px in size.  The name of the college should be bolded and gold.

Required information includes your name, official position within the college, mailing address, office phone number, email, and azdrew.net web address. You may also include your cell phone number if you choose.

You may also include your personal pronouns in your signature. The practice of sharing pronouns helps minimize misgendering and is an important strategy toward inclusivity. 

If you would like to include a logo in your signature, please use the 365英国上市官网 bell tower logo. The logo should be no wider than 200px.
